During the Core phase, your muscle activity decreases and your body temperature drops. It also represents the majority of your time asleep. And Deep sleep has a restorative effect on the body. You’ll see your data on your watch in the Sleep app, including the amount of time you spent in eachstage.

Myopia, or nearsightedness, typically starts in childhood and is on the rise. But one way you can help reduce the risk is by having your child spend at least 80 to 120 minutes outdoors in daylight each day. AppleWatch can measure time spent in daylight using the ambient light sensor.4 With FamilySetup, time in daylight can be measured from a child’s AppleWatch even if they don’t have an iPhone, and with Health Sharing, parents will be able to keep track of it.

Send an invitation from the Sharing tab and the recipient can easily choose which data you can see, and start sharing. To ensure that people have full transparency and control, they will periodically get reminders that they are sharing health data. These reminders give them the opportunity to review what they’re sharing, see who they’re sharing it with, and possibly choose to stopsharing.
