Anker Soundcore Motion X600 Review (2023) A Bluetooth Speaker - Bollyinside (2024)

The Anker Soundcore Motion X600 is a stylish Bluetooth speaker with great sound quality. It is small and easy to carry around. The Motion X600 is a great choice for music lovers who want to take their favourite tunes with them. It has great sound, a long battery life, and is easy to use. The powerful sound is one of the best things about the Motion X600. With two 40mm drivers and a bass port, this small speaker gives you a rich, immersive sound experience that belies its size. No matter what kind of music you like to listen to pop, rock, hip-hop, or something else the Motion X600 has clear highs, deep lows, and clear mid-range frequencies that will bring your music to life.

Anker Soundcore Motion X600: Description

The Motion X600 has a long battery life, which is another great thing about it. This speaker can play music for up to 15 hours on a single charge, so it can keep the party going all day and into the night. You can count on the Motion X600 to provide the soundtrack to your adventures, whether you are at the beach, camping, or just hanging out with friends. The Motion X600 is both stylish and easy to use in terms of how it is made. It has a sleek black exterior with small red details that give it a modern and elegant look that will go with any decor.

Touch controls make it easy to change the volume, skip songs, and answer calls without having to mess with buttons or switches. Of course, no speaker is perfect, and the Motion X600 does have a few small flaws that are worth pointing out. For one thing, the sound quality is good for a speaker this size, but it may not be as good as some larger and more expensive models on the market. Also, some users might find the touch controls a bit finicky and would rather use physical buttons instead.

Anker Soundcore Motion X600: Design and Build

Anker Soundcore Motion X600 Review (2023) A Bluetooth Speaker - Bollyinside (1)

The Soundcore Motion X600 has an honest look to it. It looks like an old radio because it has a perforated grille on the front and basic volume, Bluetooth, and on/off buttons on the top. But it’s not a cheesy throwback. Put it in the kitchen, turn on your music, and all of a sudden you want to look through old recipe books you haven’t looked at in years. It’s sure to be a picnic must-have, and if you are really sure of your music taste, you could carry it around like a boombox from 2023.

As soon as we saw that it was made of aluminium and had no bumps or dents, we knew it would last longer than a few hits. The handle seems strong, but it could be longer, like the . Sometimes our knuckles hit the main surface, but that’s not a big deal.

The Soundcore Motion X600 can handle the often-wet weather in Britain because it has an IPX7 waterproof rating. It will also be great for a much nicer day by the pool. At 1.9kg, this is not the lightest portable listening device. It gets a little heavy after a while, but not as much as the 3kg Sonos Move, which is also not very light. We do wish it had a case to put it in, though.

Features and interface

Compared to other Soundcore products, the Motion X600 doesn’t have a lot of features. The Soundcore app is the only way to change the EQ. It has some basic tweaks and customization options, but nothing too complicated. The basic EQ settings are voice, treble boost, balanced, and Soundcore Signature. This basically makes the bass frequencies louder.

Through a nine-point curve, custom EQ can be changed by hand. With a Soundcore account, you can also make and save EQ profiles, which is great for adjusting the sound to different rooms or spaces outside. But the EQ doesn’t change automatically based on the type of music, which is a feature of the Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds app. But, as we’ll talk about next, the Soundcore Motion X600 doesn’t need much tweaking to make great sound.

Soundcore says that the 6400 mAh battery can play for up to 12 hours at 50% volume. That looks good, and even better. We don’t listen to it at more than 50% volume, which helps the battery life, of course. But even though we used it a lot for a week, we only charged it once.

Anker Soundcore Motion X600: Sound Quality

Even though the Motion X600 doesn’t have many features, it has a lot of power. The main source of sound is a 50-watt amplifier and five drivers. This includes two woofers and two tweeters, as well as Soundcore’s “Sky Driver” speaker, which sends full-range sound upwards. When all of the Motion X600’s speakers are working together, it can make spatial sound. You can really feel the extra depth and immersion, which fixes one of our biggest complaints about portable speakers. Too often, portable speakers rely on sheer volume to fill the room, sacrificing sound quality in exchange for volume. The result is a messed-up mess. With the Soundcore Motion X600, however, the sound fills the room instead of coming from a single point.

It could be as good as some home systems, even though it’s a portable speaker. And, like most systems, it works best when the speaker is right in front of the person listening. It doesn’t do as well when played outside, but we don’t think that’s important. Most likely, it will be used more as a party trick or to add a little more fun to a BBQ. It’s not meant for listening rooms, and people who have them probably won’t like it. But that is where the goal serves the purpose. If you want to give your casual listening sessions a little more space, then the feature pays for itself.

All of this is a long way of saying that the Soundcore Motion X600 has a lot to offer in a small size. It’s also loud. Very loud. We can hardly get it above 50% before we start to worry about our neighbors and if it’s making our dog nervous. But its power doesn’t come from how loud it is. The Soundcore Motion X600 makes a sound that is both big and not too loud. Two-channel music from services like Apple Music and Spotify is much wider, thicker, and more full. The result is a sound that fills a room and is good enough for everyday use.

Final Words

The Anker Soundcore Motion X600 is the best choice if you want a small to medium-sized portable Bluetooth speaker. It gets loud enough, and the music sounds good enough, for the $200 it costs to buy. But what’s even better is that it sounds great, is almost completely waterproof, and has an aux input. There are, of course, many needs that don’t fit into those categories, so it might not be the best speaker for everyone. But after using the Motion X600 for a while, it’s hard to beat it for many uses.
