Audience Member Why does my captain hate his job? Why is this space station full of garbage? Why is everyone so cynical!Picard! Save us!This was a challenge to watch after TNG, but it is a remarkable feat they pulled off. Equally as important as TNG, but less rewatchable because it can get pretty dour. There are lengthy dialogues that take place in very ordinary settings. The whole show feels more like series of low budget plays and has a claustrophobic atmosphere about it. One also gets the feeling that the writers are trying to make science and religion compatible, which is quite absurd.
