My Apple Watch is locked and I don't have… (2024)

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Bought an Apple Watch same time as I bought the Apple phone 14 had it working fine connected I think my son tried to get into it and then locked me out. Unfortunately it was tied to an old phone number much less an old iCloud account. I have the number, but I don’t have the phone number no more I know the number but I don’t have the number no more The iCloud account I don’t know the password it’s been so long I’m just trying to reset it so I can get back on my phone. I haven’t been able to use it and no one is helping me.

Activation Lock is designed to prevent anyone else from using an Apple Watch if it's ever lost or stolen.

About Activation Lock on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Activation Lock is an anti-theft feature that cannot be bypassed. Only the previous owner can remove the lock by using their Apple ID & password. Apple will not help you find the previous owner. If the previous owner cannot or will not remove the lock, then the watch is useless to you or anyone else.
