If you have a mobile watch, you can make and receive calls right on your watch.
What you need
- Mobile service for your phone
- SIM card for your watch
- Mobile service for your watch
Check if you have a mobile watch
- On your watch, tap Settings
System Date and time. - Go to SettingsConnectivity, then look for Mobile.
System If you don't see a mobile setting, your watch does not support mobile service.For more info about getting service for your watch, check with your operator.If you use the same operator for watch and phone mobile service, your operator might offer the ability to share a single number between your phone and your watch.
Make a call
If you're out of Bluetooth range with your phone, the calls that you make from your watch use your watch's number.
If your watch is within Bluetooth range of your phone, you can choose to make your call from either your watch's number or your phone's number.
With Wear OS watches
Make a call with your voice
- On your watch, say ‘Hey Google’ or long press the Assistant button.
- Say ‘Call’ and then a contact name. For example, ‘Call Monica’.
- To end the call, tap Hang up .

From your apps menu, tap Phone
. - To find the number that you want to call, scroll down to see your contacts.
- To place a call, tap a contact or recent number from the list.
- To end the call, tap Hang up .

From your apps menu, tap Phone
. - Choose an option:
- To dial a new number, tap Dial pad .
- To dial someone that you called recently, scroll through your call history and tap a contact.
- To dial a new number, tap Dial pad
- To delete digits, tap Backspace .
- To make the call, tap Call .
- To end the call, tap Hang up .

.Call emergency services
You can make an emergency call at any time, even if the SIM is locked or invalid.
- From your apps menu, tap Phone .
- Tap Dial pad .
- Dial 999 if you're in the United Kingdom, or other local emergency number.
It is possible to send an emergency text message to 999 with the voice action 'Hey Google, send a text to 999'. However, since voice transcription is not 100% accurate, we strongly recommend that you simply call 999 instead during a real emergency situation.
Answer or reject a call

Answer a phone call: When your watch rings, swipe left.
- Reject a phone call: When your watch rings, swipe right.
- Dismiss a call with a text: When your watch rings, tap More Send message, then choose a pre-written text.
Options during a call
To see the following options, swipe up from the bottom of your watch screen while you're on a call.
- To enter in digits during a call, tap Dial pad .
- To hold a call, tap Pause call .
- To mute, tap Mute call .
- To change the volume, tap Sound .
- To return to your watch's home screen, press the button on the side of the watch.

.Use your watch as a speakerphone
If your watch has a speaker, you can use your watch to answer incoming calls to your phone.
- If your watch screen is dim, tap the screen to wake up the watch.
- Tap Settings .
- Tap Connectivity Bluetooth
- TapPlay phone voice call on watch.
Forward your phone's calls to your watch
You can receive calls on your watch made either to your watch's number or to your phone's number by setting up call forwarding. Call forwarding will cause unanswered calls to your phone to automatically forward to your watch.
Tip: Verizon does not yet support calls when out of Bluetooth range of your phone. If your watch is within Bluetooth range of your phone, you can use your watch as a speakerphone for your phone’s calls.
To set up call forwarding:

If your watch screen is dim, tap the screen to wake up the watch.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings .
- Scroll down and tap Connectivity Mobile Call forwarding.
- To activate call forwarding, tap Turn on.
To test call forwarding:

Call your phone's number from another number.
- Allow your phone to ring until it stops ringing. Do not answer the call on your phone.
- After your phone stops ringing, your watch should begin ringing a few seconds later.
If the call wasn't forwarded to your watch, try the steps above again. If you still experience issues, contact your operator.
To turn off call forwarding:

If your watch screen is dim, tap the screen to wake up the watch.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings .
- Scroll down and tap Connectivity Mobile Call forwarding.
- Tap Turn off.
With all other watches
Make a call
- Tap your watch's screen to wake your watch up.
- Say 'Hey Google. Make a phone call.'
- Say a contact's name or speak the numbers that you'd like to call.
- To end the call, tap Hang up .
Use your watch as a speakerphone

If your watch has a speaker, you can use your watch to answer incoming calls to your phone.
- If your watch screen is dim, tap the screen to wake up the watch.
- Swipe left and tap Settings .
- Tap Bluetooth Play phone audio on watch.
- Make sure that the switch is in the On position.
To set up call forwarding:
- Tap your watch's screen to wake your watch up.
- If your watch screen is dim, tap the screen to wake up the watch.
- Swipe left and tap Settings .
- Scroll down and tap Mobile.
- Follow the rest of the instructions to finish forwarding.
